What Vastu software does
A Vastu analysis has the same steps every time: get the floor plan, set the north direction, find the centre, divide the plan into zones, check what sits in each zone, and write the findings and remedies for the client. Done by hand, this means tracing paper, a protractor, reference books and hours of typing.
Vastu software does those mechanical steps on the computer. You draw or import the plan, and the software finds the centre, draws the zones, lists every room by zone and helps you build the report. The consultant’s judgement stays the same — only the slow parts get faster.
Manual Vastu vs Vastu software
| Step | By hand | With Vastu Software |
|---|---|---|
| Floor plan | Wait for a draftsman for every change | Draw it yourself or trace over a JPG/PNG |
| Centre | Measured by hand, hard for irregular plots | Brahma Bindu found automatically |
| Zones | Drawn with a protractor, usually 8 or 16 | 8, 16, 32 or 64 zones in one click |
| Devtas & remedies | Looked up in books during the session | 45 Devtas and remedies shown with each dosha |
| Site check | Needs a visit | Google Earth view of the plot and surroundings |
| Report | Typed and formatted for hours | Generated in one click, edited in Word |
Features to look for
- Floor plan drawing and import — so you don’t depend on separate CAD software.
- Automatic Brahma Bindu — including for irregular plots.
- Several zone systems — 8 and 16 zones for most homes, 32 and 64 for detailed work and entrances.
- 45 Devtas, Shakti Chakra and Pada Vinyas — the classical tools, on the real plan.
- Remedy and mantra library — remedies appear with each dosha.
- Astro-Vastu — the client’s birth chart linked to the zones of the home.
- Editable, branded reports — Word files you can edit and send with your logo.
- Windows and Mac — so it runs on the computer you already have.
CA Vastu Software includes all of these. See every module explained, or how it compares with typical Vastu software.
Who uses Vastu software?
- Vastu consultants — to deliver client reports in about 45 minutes instead of days.
- Astrologers — to add Vastu to Kundli consultations with Astro-Vastu.
- Architects and interior designers — to check layouts while designing.
- Builders and real estate teams — to answer buyers’ Vastu questions per unit type.
- Students — to practise on real floor plans.
Free tools vs full software
Free online checkers are great for a quick question — “is my kitchen in the right zone?” They look at one room at a time. Full Vastu software analyses the whole plan together: every room, the centre, cut and extended corners, Devtas and remedies, and produces a report. Be careful with “free download” copies of paid software from unknown websites — they often carry malware and never get updates.

Frequently asked questions
Is Vastu software only for professionals?
No. Consultants use it most, but astrologers, architects, builders and students also use it to check plans quickly and learn.
Does Vastu software replace a consultant?
It does the drawing, measuring and look-ups. The judgement about a specific home still comes from an experienced consultant.
Can I try CA Vastu Software before buying?
Yes. There is a short trial plan that gives you all Pro plan features without restrictions — see the pricing page for the current price.
Vastu is traditional guidance about spaces. It is not medical, legal or financial advice, and results can vary between schools of Vastu.
